February 11, 2010 is a day that North Texans 'will remember for a long time. Snow is not a common occurrence here. When we do get it, it is usually mixed with sleet and freezing rain and turns to ice before we have time to play in it. Yesterday was an exception. Records have been kept for 111 years and we not only beat the record but we shattered it! We set the record at DFW airport for the most snowfall in a 24 hour span ever, 11.2"! Some of you are probably saying, yeah....so what, but here in Texas that is a huge deal!
Jordan and I have had a lot of fun playing in it! Below is one of my favorite pictures! I LOVE WINTER!
