It is so important

to VOTE!  It is not only our right as Americans but our dury.  Anytime there is an election we should be proud to go and let our voice be heard.  Its part of what makes America great.  Today, Chris and I went and voted in the Texas Republican Primary.  I am looking forward to the November election and true change taking pleace in this county!  Ohh and one more thing.  If you do not vote, I don't want to hear you complaining about what's gong on.  You should have voted, thats how our voices are heard!

And just for the record, I did not use my cell phone "IN" the polling place.  I used it right outside to take this picture. HA!

  1. I'm definately a voter, HOWEVER, the absentee ballot process is horrible! Some states have it to where you can vote online, but Arkansas doesn't (yet). For the November '08 election, I did not receive my ballot until one week before the election, spent one evening voting and mailed it (had to pay for it to be mailed) back. Things from here take one week to get to the states, so I know that my ballot was not really counted. At least I voted for McCain and he won that state, so the electorial votes went to him.
Then apparently there was a reelection for a local race and I did not receive that ballot until 3 weeks AFTER I was supposed to turn it in.
Needless to say, I hope they change their process because what they are doing is not working.
