Well, I'm home! I finished my blog yesterday around 9pm. They had just come in to draw my blood and were were waiting to see if treatment had worked.
At about 9:45pm my nurse came in and told me i could start celebrating. When I checked in to the hospital my Potassium level was a 3.1. The Doctor wanted it a 3.8 but after talking last night decided she could send me home with a 3.6. So that was the magic number. I asked the nurse what the results were and she said it was 4.2. Withing 5 minutes I was heading out the door of the hospital and going home.
Being there wasn't so bad. We had great nurses and staff and Dr Coulter-Smith coming in when she was not on call really made me feel special and well taken care of. I am looking forward to having our little guy at Baylor-Grapevine. I am also praying that even though I had a good experience yesterday, I don't have to go back until December.
In the last 2 days I accumulated three prescriptions that we are getting filled today. I will now be taking 7 things a day. I am taking a Prenatal Vitamin, Folic Acid, Calcium, DHA, Iron, Potassium, and Zoloft. Then I also take my propranolol for my heart rate as needed. WOW! I am a drug stores dream!
I am feeling much better today. My only issue now is getting my very low Iron up. I am tired and weak but once I get those iron pills in me I should start feeling much better!
I just ask you to continue to pray for me and "baby clown". We have about 14 weeks to go. I pray that he will make it to at least 36 weeks but I would love to be able to carry him longer.
Glad you were able to get in and out of the doc. quickly and are feeling better :) Sending my thoughts to you and your family that all goes well the rest of your 14 wks :)
